William Rawlings, Jr. – “Anatomy of a Thriller: What Makes a Book a Thriller? How Do Thrillers Differ From
Mysteries? How Are These Works Positioned in Today’s Crowded Market?” Many of the world’s greatest works of

surprise and suspense, writers must understand the differences between the two, the basic structure of each, and
how these come into play. (Physician turned novelist William Rawlings, Jr. is the author of The Rutherford Cipher;
The Mile High Club; Crossword; The Tate Revenge, and The Lazard Legacy). You can reach Rawlings through
www.williamrawlings.com.

as a library, the answer is yes, as in the case of author A. Louise Stamen. Staman is the author of the Eric Hoffer
Award winning book, Loosening Corsets: The Heroic Life of Georgia’s Feisty Mrs. Felton, First Woman Senator of
the United States; With the Stroke of a Pen; Home-Grown Georgia Poems; Assassinat d’un editeur a la Liberation;
